US Grand Prix (2013): Vettel steals pole from Webber
Sebastian Vettel may already have wrapped up the drivers title, but that hasn’t taken away his motivation to win. Despite what looked like an unbeatable time by Mark Webber, Vettel managed to turn a lap that didn’t look like it had the legs in the first half in to a second half that pipped Webber to pole. Gemballa is infamous for tweaking Porsches – it calls the process of producing 740bhp Cayennes ‘refining’ – but now the German tuner has turned is attention to Ferrari. And Uwe Gemballa and his team have started right at the top: the Gemballa MIG-U1 is actually a Ferrari Enzo. It’s Max Power for millionaires.
Power increases aren’t key here – instead it’s the new aero package that Gemballa is most proud of.
In fact, at the Shanghai Motor Show in 2011, Volvo delivered the Concept Universe car which we all though was pointing the way to what could be a Volvo S90; Volvo’s luxury car for Chinese plutocrats.
